He’s an amazing man to listen to and I started following him on social media. He’s an ex-Marine/Navy SEAL and has chosen a noble cause, one I could support. I watched various different raids that he and his team had done on Instagram and I watched the movie Contraland, which I highly recommend. I thought, WOW, this is a story to be told.

I don’t know Craig nor have I reached out to him, but I thought a lot about him and what he does. I couldn’t imagine a more fitting story to be told from three different perspectives. One through the eyes of a brother whose sister had gone missing while vacationing in Ireland. The next story would be through the eyes of a young American woman who had been sold into slavery in the Middle East, and the last, through the eyes of an elite pedophile’s family. The man in all three books, who has given his life to saving people from human trafficking, is none other than an ex-Marine, Billy Watts, a black man who has a tremendous love for God and life, and hates human trafficking.

The first manuscript I wrote, I had to quit because the storyline had become too intense to write, so I decided to start the second book and lighten it up with a few costars, so to speak. Ireland and her people couldn’t have been a better choice for the story to take place and ease up on the intensity of the subject matter. Though the main character, Clay, is going through something very dramatic, the people around him allowed me to lighten the story without losing the seriousness of human trafficking. This book became my first, even though I started it second. I hope that makes sense. Once I completed that book, I went back and finished Savannah’s story as if there hadn’t been a hiccup while writing it.

Handing out my work has always been a scary thing. The first time I did, a selected group of unsuspecting friends was given the first manuscript I had ever written. How they did it, I don’t know, but they all managed to find the story, even with all its mistakes. Now they’re used to me calling and telling them I have another book for them to read. So it came as no surprise when I called, saying I had a new series, asked if they’d read it, and let me know what they thought. Knowing the topic in these two novels was vastly different from my first three books; An Inheritance of Hope, The Restoration of Hope, and A Beacon of Hope, I had high hopes they’d be well received. When I didn’t hear from anyone right away, I freaked out (just a smidgen), but as always, they came back with some great feedback which allowed me to move forward with the third and final book in this series. Its focus would be on the pedophile’s family.

Before Christmas of last year (2019), Rebecca Bender came to town and I went to see her speak. I bought her book, read it in a day, and WOW, what an eye-opener. She had been trafficked by a boyfriend and the stuff this woman went through and survived was nothing short of amazing. At first, I wasn’t sure how to start the story with the pedophile’s family, but then I thought a lot about what Rebecca had said about her family and what they went through. Even though they had been on the receiving end of a trafficked daughter, their story gave me some food for thought. Then the news about Jeffery Epstein broke and why that triggered the storyline for me, I don’t know, but it did. I researched him for a few days and then found Netflix had a documentary about him that I watched. A story started to formulate in my mind. Because of what Rebecca had shared and the Jeffery Epstein nightmare, the third story unfolded and seven weeks later, it was completed.

When we think of human traffickers, we don’t think about their families and the devastation that it causes them. The victims extend further than any of us realize. It’s heartbreaking to think that a husband, a father of young children, or a brother or son could do such a thing to a child or even to women in general. Women, like Ghislaine Maxwell who helped Jeffery Epstein, and Nancy Garrido who participated in Jaycee Dugard’s abduction, are not immune from being traffickers, but from the research I’ve done, it’s mostly men that are the predators. At the end of the day, we all need to be aware of what’s going on in our world. Pull the blindfolds off and open our eyes. All lives matter, yes I said it, and honestly, children, women, and even young boys trafficked should have the same freedoms that you and I do, but they don’t and I hate to say this, but it seems many people don’t care.

Here’s something that should frighten all of us. There are people trying to make prostitution legal. If that happens there will be no place safe for women or children. It will be a slap on the wrist for the pedophile and their victim will be left scarred for life. Below you’ll find one preditor’s thoughts on what he thinks is okay. These despicable pedosexuals are trying to become an orientation group. They have even falsely stated that the LGBTQ movement is supporting pedosexuality and will be adding a P to its acronym. Though I don’t support LGBTQ, I’m grateful that the claims are false. Anyone or group that supports pedophilia in my book is beyond crazy.

Though these are old and the man is no longer on twitter, he leaves us with a thought that is scary . . . a grown man thinks this way.
